Bizzarro Italian Café introduces our 300 Mile Menu!
To support our local farms and celebrate the veritable cornucopia of local ingredients found here in the Pacific Northwest, we have gone local! Along with our daily handmade pastas and desserts made from scratch, the majority of our meats, seafood, dairy and produce, when available, come from no more than 300 miles away. The Italians have known the secret to freshness for centuries: "Eat with the seasons and let nature's timely bounty be the ispirazione for all your dishes."

Local steamed clams in a fresh basil and white wine broth.
INSALATA DELLA MELA $7.95
A crisp salad of apple slices, salad greens, toasted hazelnuts and Mt. Townsend
gruyere - dressed with hazelnut oil and apple cider vinegar.
INSALATA DELLA BARBABIETOLA $7.95
A roasted beet salad with fennel root and smoked Oregon blue cheese, drizzled
with olive oil and sprinkled with coarse sea salt.
INSALATA AL BALSAMICO DI LA CASA $5.95
A simple salad of seasonal greens and organic carrots - dressed with balsamic
vinaigrette.

A hand-crafted soup of the day.

Our hand made pasta entrees come with a house salad included or you can upgrade to one
of our specialty salads for $4 or soup of the day for $2.
PARPARDELLE A LA BOLOGNESE $15.95
Wide ribbon noodles tossed in rich organic beef, lamb and pork - slow simmered
for six hours and finished with a touch of butter.
LINGUINI AL VONGOLE CON PANCETTA $15.95
Fresh local clams sautéed with the Chef's own, house-cured pancetta and a touch
of chili flake, tossed with butter and our handmade linguini.
RAVIOLI DI ZUCCA $15.95
Savory winter squash ravioli with a hint of nutmeg, tossed in a sage butter sauce
and topped with spicy candied pecans.
GNOCCHI CON SUGO DI MAIALE $15.95
Handmade Yukon Gold potato dumplings tossed with a rich braised pork shoulder
and rib sauce, seasoned with nutmeg and cinnamon.
GNOCCHI AL FROMAGGIO AFFUMICATO $15.95
Our potato dumplings tossed in a Smoked Oregon Blue cheese sauce with sautéed
apples.
CAPELLINI CON CAVOLETTI $15.95
A traditional winter dish from Florence: local chard and kale slow braised in a
rich vegetable stock, tossed with angel hair pasta and a touch of butter with a hint
of spice.
CAPELLINI "MOLICOLE" $15.95
A spicy twist on the traditional dish, angel hair pasta tossed with crushed garlic,
Mama Lil's Peppers, olive oil and focaccia crumbs - topped with Parmigiana
Reggiano.

Tender Semolina dumplings, pan fried in brown butter and oven baked with a
touch of cream and parmesan.

Our baked entrees; the lamb, guinea hen, rabbit and trout take a little extra time to come to perfection in our oven so we recommend you enjoy an appetizer and/or a small order of fresh pasta as a primi piatti while you wait - house salad is already included.
AGNELLO BRASATO CON POLENTA $19.95
Red wine braised lamb shank, served atop a crispy polenta cake and braised kale
- with a lamb and fig demi-glace.
GALLINA ARROSTITA CON FUNGHI $21.95
A roasted half Guinea Hen, marinated in Marsala wine and finished with a wild
mushroom and chicken stock "jus" - with semolina gnocchi.
CONIGLIO BRASATO IN CHARDONNAY $19.95
Locally farmed rabbit leg, wrapped in house cured panchetta -braised in
chardonnay with parsnips and chard.
FILETTO DI MAIALE ARROSTO $19.95
A brined and roasted pork loin with a grilled Washington apple slice and braised
leeks -finished with a white wine-gorgonzola sauce (ask your server about the
availability of this dish).
TROTA AL FORNO $19.95
Farm raised Ruby Trout encrusted with polenta and stuffed with shaved fennel
root and fresh thyme, with roasted Yukon Gold potatoes.
BISTECA AL PEPE VERDE $19.95
Hand cut sirloin top steak, encrusted with green pepper corns, pan seared and
finished with a touch of cream - with roasted Yukon potatoes.
